Natural Bakery Boxes

Your bakery boxes are made a stone's throw away from the Mississippi River. We are so taken with the native
beauty of our area's natural resources, we put the geographical centerpiece into our very name, Big River
Packaging (the BRP in brpboxshop). We recently retrofit a special scrap collection system to our machines
and 100% of our scrap is now recycled. Our sense of responsibility that has made this and projects like it, a
success, is the same spirit behind our new line of natural bakery boxes. These boxes are uncoated and no
chemicals are used to change their natural organic appearance, but the 'natural' is more than skin deep. Here
are some notes on the material we've chosen for our natural brown/brown bakery box line.

This natural paperboard uses typically 25-30% less fiber than other box materials. Compared to other
virgin fiber products, that's 25-30% fewer trees to produce the same amount of boxes. Against bleached
paperboard, it is better for the environment because strong solvents are not used to bleach the pulp. Also,
the fiber for these brown/brown boxes comes from SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) lumber - lumber
collected and reforested utilizing environmentally friendly practices.

		Another Brown Cake Box that's perfect for wedding favors. We have little cake pad to go in the bottom of this natural bakery box to keep sweet eats from sticking to the bottom. This is yet another brown bakery box that exists because you asked us to make it. This little bakery box also comes in white and pink.

Brown 4" x 4" x 4" Natural Kraft Windowed Bakery Box



			This will no doubt turn out to be our most popular Brown Cake Box. Most of the bakers buying this natural bakery boxy use it in the presentation of a single cupcake. Others use it for a muffin or wedding favors. These natural boxes are stronger than their bleached counterparts, and less expensive too.

		Customer requests help us decide what bakery boxes to manufacture. This short brown cake box is the result of being asked to make a six inch box two and one-half inches deep. We thought some of you would like a natural version.

8" x 8" x 4" Brown Bakery Box Made from Natural Kraft - No Window



			This box size and style started its evolution being pink. Customers asked for this bakery box in Natural Kraft, so we made them brown with a window to see the cupcakes sitting pretty in their cupcake holder. This next step is still a brown box, but without the window.

		Biodegradable paper, biodegradable window film, and both made from Natural Kraft board created only from trees maintained under Sustainable Forest Initiative practices and principles. This is a big box with a big bio!

		Paper and paperboard is made from plant fibers. Your Natural Kraft boxes use 30% less than other boxes - and not because we skimp on the quality. This paper is thick and rigid. The window material is natural too and made from SFI harvested plants.

		This box size is relatively new, but already it has gotten the window(less) treatment. For those of you who do not need a window, this super rigid Natural Kraft box might be just what you need to get your goodies going from kitchen to smiles.

			This is EASILY one of our most popular items. A lot of people tell us that customers who visit their cupcake shops comment on the boxes. This is a new spin on a bakery box a lot of people like a bunch. It's brown, sure, but this one has no window. If you are looking for a smart box to place some eats - this might just be the ticket.
